This research explores, from an education and training perspective, the potential of midstream social marketing (SM) in the disability sector. It describes the most important features of SM, and assesses: a) which are the training needs of SM for professionals working in this setor ; and b) how to transfer SM techniques and strategies to disability sector organizations in order to improve the social inclusion and the quality of life of people with fewer opportunities.
